How do I actually get my three quotes?
Click "Get 3 Free Quotes" anywhere on the site, fill in the 2-minute brief, and hit submit. We don't need a signup, a phone call, or a credit card. You'll get an automated confirmation email immediately, and your quotes inside 24 hours.
Is FindDevs really free for clients?
Yes. Comparing quotes through FindDevs costs you nothing. Developers in the network pay us a referral fee on work they win, never the client.
How long does it take?
Most quotes are returned within 24 hours of submitting your brief. Complex enterprise scopes can take up to 48 hours. If you haven't heard from us in 48 hours, jump to step 4 and we'll chase it manually.
Can I get more than 3 quotes?
Three is the sweet spot, enough to compare without choice paralysis. If none feel like a fit, we'll line up another three at no cost.
I just submitted, where are my quotes?
Quotes typically arrive within 24 hours. Check your spam/junk folder first, emails from finddevs.com.au sometimes land there. Confirmed senders: hello@finddevs.com.au and no-reply@finddevs.com.au.
I need to change something in my brief
Reply to the confirmation email we sent you with the corrections. We'll forward the updated brief to your matched developers and they'll revise the quote if relevant.
I want to withdraw my brief
Reply to your confirmation email with "Please withdraw", we'll stop the matching process and delete your brief from our system.
It's been more than 48 hours and nothing
That's unusual and we want to know. Skip to step 4 and we'll chase it personally.
How do I apply to the network?
The developer application is currently invite-only while we onboard our first cohort. Add yourself to the waitlist on the home page and you'll be notified the moment we open public applications.
What's the referral fee?
Network developers pay a percentage of the contract value on work they win through FindDevs. The exact rate is in the Developer Network Agreement and varies by tier. There's no signup fee, retainer or subscription.
What's the vetting process?
A portfolio review, a 30-minute technical conversation, and two Australian client references. We accept around 12% of applicants. Australian-based developers only.
Do you accept agencies, or just freelancers?
Both. Solo freelancers, two-to-five-person studios, and small agencies (under 25) are all welcome to apply.
I want a copy of my data
You have a right to access any personal data we hold on you under the Australian Privacy Principles. The fastest path is in our Privacy Policy, section 8, but we still need an email from the address linked to your data, so step 5 will sort it.
Delete my data
Same, read Privacy Policy section 8, and our 30-day deletion process kicks in once you email us from the linked address. We have to verify identity before deleting.
What cookies are you setting?
Every cookie we set is listed in our Cookies Policy. We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or any cross-site tracker.
I think you have the wrong information about me
You can correct any inaccurate personal info under APP 13. The process is in Privacy Policy section 8.
Where are the brand assets?
High-resolution logos, the brand wordmark, founder photos and approved screenshots are coming soon to a press kit page. Until then, the logo at the top of the site can be linked to /assets/logo-finddevs-logo.png.
Are founders available for interviews?
Yes, Australian press queries about the developer freelancing market, AI in software hiring, and similar are usually fine. Step 5 has the email; please include your outlet, deadline, and topic.
Are partnership proposals welcome?
We read every proposal but say yes to roughly 1 in 25. Best chance: be specific about what you're proposing, who at FindDevs benefits, and what success looks like in 90 days.
Can we license your data on developer pricing?
Aggregated, anonymised pricing data is occasionally available for research partners, email us at step 5 with the use case.
Did you check the home page?
Most things, what FindDevs is, who it's for, how it works, the Service Guarantee, are answered on the home page. It takes 2 minutes to read.
Is this an account / login issue?
FindDevs doesn't have user accounts yet. There's nothing to log in to. Quote requests are stateless.
Is this a billing issue?
FindDevs is free for clients, so there's nothing to bill. If a developer in our network has billed you something unexpected, that contract is between you and the developer, but tell us at step 5 and we'll investigate.
Is this a complaint about a developer?
We take this seriously. Step 5 is the right place. Please include the developer's name, the brief reference (if you have it), and what happened.
